My dog stepping stone business began in April of 2009 because of a request from a very dear friend, Mollie. Mollie asked if I would donate some of my mosaic stepping stones to WAIF (Whidbey Animal Improvement Foundation) for their annual fundraising auction. WAIF is our local animal shelter here on Whidbey Island and I was glad to help. While I have been making colorful generic stepping stones for the last ten years, I had never made "DOG" stepping stones but thought I would give it a try. I had such a great time making them I didn't want to stop!

One of the cutest dogs in the entire world and she's all mine! I love my Josie girl. She's a Humane Society special and we got her when she was just a pup. Now she's 113 pounds of pup (and it's time for a diet)!
Chena loves her new kitten! She is so gentle with her. Who says Siberian Huskies and cats don't get along?!
