Mary Calabray and her husband Wayne Roewer are two very special people who have opened up their home to foster bassets for the Las Vegas Basset Rescue.  Most have found permanent homes with Mary and Wayne.  Below is one very special girl I would like to introduce you to ...

"I see with my heart."

Jamie is one of Mary and Wayne's bassets.  They adopted her from LVBR several years ago.  Jamie's loyal foster mom (until she was adopted) was Cindy Johnson.  Cindy saw Jamie through the surgeries needed to remove her painful, blind eyes -- caused by glaucoma.  Jamie is a testament to how resilliant and loving a Basset can be.  She knows no boundaries, confident in the guided love of Mary and Wayne.  Jamie sees with her heart -- and uses that powerful Basset nose to get around just fine.  You go, girl!
